All Blacks Gear Trailers

The Issue

A logistics manager for our national rugby team, the All Blacks®️ needed some custom trailers made for the transportation of gear and scrum machines during New Zealand’s hosting of the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

The Action

Getting to tournaments held throughout New Zealand, with an All Blacks®️ sized entourage of associated gear, required reliable logistics. Hence why Agnew Engineering was called upon to design & build two cargo trailers that could fit all the gear and take the punishment of touring. Agnew had finalised designs drawn up and set about making the large road trailer, similar to a horse float in shape.

The Result

The two custom trailers were complete and ready for the road within three weeks and featured the full All Blacks® signage plus mag wheel rims and tyres. New Zealand went on to win the 2011 Rugby World Cup, defeating France 8-7 in the final.
